Is porn blocked in halls at Liverpool?

Serious question.

Do halls block access to porn? I've heard some university halls do this, others don't. What about Liverpool, specifically?
Not blocked but JANET (academic interweb provider who provide ResNet) aren't keen on you doing it as they officially don't allow it in their rules. That being said in reality they couldn't care less as long as it isn't illegal, bigger fish to fry and all that.

I don't get much mobile data, I'm specifically asking about the wifi/broadband in halls.

Hell yeah. Cheers. Also, awkward question (I'm presuming you're a student at Liverpool): how thin are room walls?
Very thin, you can hear people doing it in the next room so you might want to take that into consideration.
If you are 18 and going up to university then you've probably watched plenty whilst growing up just like the opposite sex has, so give it a rest, go to the freshers dances or at the gym or in lectures and find someone and make use of the fact that you have been given freedom from your parents and get the bed a rockin in halls.

You don't want to be the creepy loner watching porn in his/her room when there is loads of young excitable girls / lads running around your feet

Going to the gym gives you body confidence for one, being confident about why you are at uni, your career goals, your life goals like travelling and your enthusiasm for the subject you are learning makes you an interesting person and so listening and understanding and then taking control and showing someone you like them always works so dont be creepy solid right-arm man messaging girls on facebook get out there and get talking, for every success there has been 10 failures along the way..

Drat. I guess I'll get used to it. I was going to upgrade my vibrator to a more powerful but noisier one - perhaps I'll be giving that a miss then.

Hey, thanks for your reply. I'm a girl and in a sexual relationship. I still watch porn when in a relationship. Definitely wouldn't call myself a creep and I don't think watching porn makes you one. Ideally I'd have sex every day but that's not always possible, so on days when I can't, I'll turn on the porn and maybe get the toys out.

You should have explained it better and I shouldn't read into it as much.. fair play though.

Definitely some good advice for the boys there though.

enjoy uni

Haha thanks for replying. I guess when I posted this question, I assumed people wouldn't freak out when the topic of porn was brought up

do not worry about porn, no halls care at all they'll never say anything unless your downloading some straight up illegal ****.
Get out of the halls and have fun instead of sitting in, watching porn
