This isn't the case in Sweden and b) "In Sweden there has been this ambition explicitly to record every case of sexual violence separetely, to make it visible in the statistics", says Klara Selin, a sociologist at the National Council for Crime Prevention in Stockholm. "So, for instance, when a woman comes to the police and says my husband raped me almost every day during the last year, the police have to record each of these events, which might be more than 300 events. I would HAPPILY pay that amount in taxes if the standards of living in the UK were even close to that of Norway or Finland. Finland literally has one of the best education systems in the world. Besides, only upper middle class people do that in Scandinavia, the people who can afford it. Working class people don't. Lower middle class people don't either.

Rapes do not occur at a higher rate in Sweden than it does in any other countries. Therefore it is not the rape capital of Europe. It's that simple.

Well that's your choice and your choice only. I don't want to pay a high amount of taxes and that should be my choice. I should not be forced by government to pay for things like free healthcare and free education .

Move to the US, a perfectly capitalist country where you won't have to pay high taxes, then, a country drowning in debt, where whether you're able to go to college depends on how rich your family is, where waiters make 2 dollars (16 NOK) an hour, where people work 40 hours of week yet can't afford to pay for things such as basic healthcare, food, and rent, where government officials end more lives in a month than UK officials do over the course of 95 years (let alone norway), where the education standards are falling, where having a non culturally coded name like jenna or luke is worth 8 more years than having a culturally coded name that's not acceptable like ibrahim or josé, where 45 million people live in poverty. be my guest. <3
