Can you give multiple answers on a GCSE Maths question?

For example, on an algebra question, could i write "x=7 or x=8" and still get a mark if the answer was "x=8" even though i wrote two answers?
(this is for the exams that are tomorrow)

Probably not, but it depends on the exam board and the examiner. Most likely it wouldn't be counted.

No lol they mark the answer you write on the line.
I believe they would take the first as your answer and mark accordingly
