The mother didn't have it so she had tt, farther was Heterozygous so he must have Tt, therefore probability 50%. Either that or I read the question wrong.

I agree!

They were relevant they just required you to apply knowledge.
B1:
Drug trials
Bias caused by these

B2:
Food chains

B3:
Cloning

That was all

You missed the entire heart question in B3
Unofficial mark scheme?

I didn't say blind because both knew?

If they knew, then what was the point in the experiment. It was to understand how the placebo effect works so they couldn't have known.

It was harder than 2015. So the grade boundary will be lower

She didn't she ha two recessive alleles like this

She had 2 recessive alleles (tt) as she didnt have club thumbs. The father was heterozygous so had one of each (Tt). Therefore, its 50%

It's completely not perfect - I can't remember it all haha
How did everyone find that heart question? I got D, as that was the right ventricle on the left side of the page, but due to the mirror thing pumped blood around the body.

Yeah :frown:.

I read the bloody question wrong, ffs :/.
It did say in the question they were told what they'd been given, even if they were lied to

True I get what u are saying ... However on a blind trail they would not have been told anything they would have just received a pill etc and had to go with it .

i thought the one about the thumbs was none because the mum and dad had normal thumbs
My friend got 0% for the thumb one:
She said that Tt means they are a carrier like the father, and for them to get the disease it would have to be TT.

I got 50% though!!!
