Think I'm going to need some better revision tactics for this. :erm: My revision attempts are always futile.
Anyone like to recommend a way to memorise key distinctions between strands? Particularly anarchism - it's hard to differentiate.

Tell me about it
Super struggling with unit 4. Im okay with feminism but the other 3 argh
Finding them so hard. I haven't even touched ecologism or nationalism
Ecologism is so boring and nationalism is tricky
Feel like I'm gonna fail 😢

This is so frustrating - no one seems to have a sure way of revising to full effectiveness...
It's so soon too...

What i'm doing is writing up essays for every question that has come up and then memorising the points so in that way i have the relevant info needed for the relevant questions asked and i find that whilst doing this, it's easier to find the differences within the strands, i hope this helped

I do that currently, but aren't you concerned about new questions turning up? :colondollar:

Hmm - I think I'll try to see if there's a question on anarchism which concerns its status as a single ideology, and try to mould it around that.

Tbh, what could they possibily ask that wont have the information that we've put into every other essay? Haha

And there is! In 2014 they asked whether anarchism is a single doctrine and if you go on examiner reports, the response to that question gained 45/45 and it's very easy to understand and is straight to the point haha

I know, I just fear that they'll produce some abstract questions out of the blue for no real reason...:afraid:

Actually, I think that question will be easy to answer - hopefully something of a similar nature turns up!

with that question would you just compare the strands?

Yes, collectivist vs individualist - since the former is often described as extreme socialism and the latter as extreme liberalism. Therefore they are quite different. But you'd be expected to also show similarities.

I think I did that question in class once, it is definitely one of the kinder questions.

What grade are you aiming for?
