Give me answer to the following question
Workout total number of teachers when the probability for female teacher is 3/5 and there are 36 male teachers? It would be my pleasure if u do that

90 teachers

If 3/5 are female, then 2/5 are male

2/5 of the workers are male

2/5 = 36
therefore the total is (36*5)/2 = 90 teachers.

36 male, 54 female
Would ://
Well dat went bad

That's 8 marks you've lost there.

I'll have picked up method marks so not completely 8 marks, reckon I'll get 1 or 2 for the Surds/Area one, and about 3 for the Circle Theorems one. Also made like 2 mistakes elsewhere in the paper, but should be comfortably an A*

For the question about the tiles I did a completely different method that everyone I've spoke to and came to the conclusion that :
No. because she has enough to cover 37.5m^2 but needs to cover 50m^2 so she's 12.5m^2 short
DID ANYONE GET ANYTHING SIMILAR // know if I will get any marks? I was pretty confident on that question lol

I did that but people said she didn't have enough cans instead
Okay so if everyone fails maths GCSE will the grade boundaries be lowered?

Can you please comment or reply to me and tell me what you got roughly? I got 75 :frown: out of 100
Would 1/25 be accepted for question 21 as it is equivalent to 0.04?

Yes, as the fraction is in it's simplest form.

Yes you may permission granted thanks for asking first.

No worries and thank you!
If I remember correctly question 9 was something like find a formula for the total envelops T in terms of x and y. I got something like 5x+20y.
Original post by Jesnazzy
I think i put T = x + 4y, which is the simplified form of 5x + 20y. Is that wrong?

If you wrote T= 5x + 20y in your working and then showing that u simplified it you might get 1 mark but after seeing a full unofficial mark scheme it looks like T= 5x + 20y will get u full marks.

Anyone got the foundation paper questions?
