This test was weird, i can't discern if i did well or not. I only know i lost stupid marks!!;$ What did you guys put for type of cells not in amoeba?

P.S:Im not allowed to take f212 in my school cause they think not capable enough despite been 2 marks of C last year. Would it be better if I just focus on f214 and f215 or take the exam in another school, if possible? Any advice welcome

I would just focus on f214 and 5, plus is it not too late to enter for a retake now?

The answer for 14mm was 117 because it was to the nearest nm and the answer was 116.6 so you round it up

Yeah that's what I meant & put. Is that okay?

I put palisade cell and spongy mesophyll but that's a tissue, so I dropped a mark on that already haha.

I thought i was Y
Is someone going to make an unofficial mark scheme?

I wrote Y too, but it should've been Z, because Y was the magnification od the SEM, not the TEM

It was suppose to be guard cells and palisade mesophyll cells

How can it be pallisade mesophyll cells
They are needed for photosynthesis
I got 117um and I think that's the right answer cause quite a lot in my class got it and I got Z as it had the greatest magnification and smallest resolution which a TEM is

Do you remember the value they gave in the paper?

Plant cells have chloroplasts palisade cells have a greater number of them
Does anyone know the answer to what mechanisms are used to move water into the moss? Are we supposed to talk about the different pathways or about cohesion and tension?
can somebody please produce a unofficial mark scheme.. it would be greatly appreciated )))))
For the stem cells, apart from specialising into different types of cells what do they do?
I used 15mm so I got 120 micrometers. I think they will accept the 14-15mm range..

Y was 100,000 and Z was 500,000

Hmm I said paliside mesophyll and spongy mesophyll :frown: Will they still accept palisade mesophyll? I literally wrong guard cell in the corner on my annotations but didn't write it

What do you reckon the grade boundaries are?
