Hey, if anybody is willing to contribute the answers, and preferably the questions, then I shall set up a mark scheme for you all. Thanks in advance!

Can people please attach question numbers to their answers? Method would be appreciated.

This will be updated as I go along.

Spoiler

can you please explain the last question? any idea for the grade boundaries?

Since it won't let me upload it

q25 is worth 3 IIRC.

Yeah, it was 7x10^10

EDIT: ... maybe not

It was 7x10^8
I simplified 100-25pi to 25-5pi would that still be full marks? And for the estimate I got 42,what would that be? Thanks
Please can people add marks that were available for each question if you know them

You didn't simplify it full though and according to the teacher mark scheme you didn't need to simplify fully anyway so you might get full marks for it and 42 would be a C

Depending on the grade boundaries, it could be either a B+ OR A-
its a c lad

I square rooted both sides of X^2 = 4(X-3)^2 to get X = 2X - 6 which i then solved to get X = 6, I dont quite get why this isn't allowed but will i at least get part marks as I got 6 which was one of the answers?

Because let's say X was 2, then 4(2-3)^2 would be 4(4-9) which would be 16-36 which would equal -20. But if you simplified it to 2*2-6 then the answer would be 4-6 which would be -2. Hence 4(X-3)^2 is not equal to 2X-6. That is what I think anyway. I may be wrong.
Can somebody make a foundation one please

Thats an estimate but i would say u need about 80 just incase

oh my god! brilliant!! thank you so much btw for the grade boundaries!
For question 17. did u need to put x= 4.4 and x=-0.4 or would be OK to put just 4.4 , -0.4 ?? ( not put x= )
Since it didnt ask for it in its simplest form, do you guys reckon that 1/4 - root6/12 is fine for the answer to the last question as it is still an exact equivalent to 3-root6/12 ?
Has anyone done a mark scheme and the marks its worth...
