Mate the revision guide itself advertises this on its front cover- 'Checked by an AQA Principal Examiner'

Hope we both get the marks.

Why would they allow another answer

When the ester bond is broken by hydrolysis it produces and alcohol and carboxylic acid

Glycerol - alcohol
Fatty acid contains a carboxylic acid group which causes a Dec in ph

yeah thats what i meant. would that be right baby?

Well yeah because that's the correct answer, triglycerides are the limiting factor

for what they shouldn't eat i put foods containing lactose (e.g. dairy products), since they were measuring the symptoms of lactose intolerance remember other sugars would not effect the results and cause symptoms? not sure tho

I just put not to eat dairy products, would that be sufficient for the marks?
If you checked the diagram of the mitochondria given in the exam today it showed a piece of circular DNA inside the matrix of the mitochondria, you can also check the structure of mitochondria online and it will show the same Circular DNA, however i think your answers are correct too

Why would the enzyme denature it was at 20 degrees? So it wouldn't denature..
Triglycerides limiting factor more correct

I put same as gcse kid

Because if the enzyme denatures when pH is either side of optimum and pH decreased so the enzyme denatured
Hence why it was constant

I put uncoiled / free floating DNA

The water causes the decline in PH coz of hydrogen ion concentraion change.

You're over complicating it, the lactase hydrolysed triglycerides into fatty acids and glycerol hence the decrease in pH

I think it'll be 49 for an A, 58+ for full
Do you think they'd accept the word plasmid instead of circular DNA?
