my ex got put on the wing as he had his eye slashed but he signed himself off after a while

Otherwise, would it really make sense from another inmate's perspective to pick the toughest, strongest guy in the prison to pick a fight with instead of one of the more docile inmates?

I get where you're coming from though; I was just listing anything that'd be of any benefit.

We're on about people who need protection not those who think they're ok to go back to general population. Some people just try to find reasons to go to protection and it don't always work is what I mean.

Muscles would still be more useful than no muscles, that's what I meant. You'd rather go in at least with a chance of intimidating some of the people lower down on the pecking order and physically weaker.

For instance, the guy who got booked for petty theft who has no real experience of violence wouldn't start using violence on the toughest looking guy there.

Ever heard of shanks? Small ones with no mates normally have em. If it needs to be that srs. And if he has connections he would. Big guys get taken down all the time, some of the maddest boys are small, seriously. I won't get into too much but I've been booked before and on remand, sat in a cell before facing the judge and there's men of all sizes getting boyed off trust but anyway.

Quiet won't make you friends but like if you're just a stray smackie or a thief and not affiliated with anyone which will be the case many times, you'd come in on your own without knowing anyone so most people gotta socialise to stay sane. The quiet ones are seen as targets sometimes because well you're in pen, people have issues they'll take if offensive or they'll sniff you out as scared or weak or tryna be a tough guy. Don't go in like peacocking either acting big giving large either but I mean if you can fight your tail off sure don't say ****. If someone goes up to you and asks you stuff just be mindful how you answer em :\

So let's say this person decides to fight you BECAUSE you look tough and may be easy to pin the blame on, which is what I think you were getting at. I don't think killing another inmate is going to get into solitary, so this person would have to keep you alive. So your main priority is still met: you're still alive.

I'd just like to point out that I don't think that muscles alone are going to help, I'm just saying they'd be more useful than none XD


In the real world where people are impressed with size. Prison, no. They size you up by who you know, what you did to get in, and your personality there. Mate you don't know anything about prison lol which isn't necessarily a bad thing but it does mean you should just seriously stop posting.

If they serve berry tea in prison then I probably could and it's not all girls xx

No. The Hole or protective custody or solitary confinement is limited cells and space so only reserved for people who seriously need it. Being a coward won't get you booked for you own little space. Soz.

Lmao never said a muscular person wouldn't have motor skills to operate a weapon? I'm saying you count out someone just because of size. You wouldn't last in prison for purely that naivete. You'd be the kid wanting to befriend the big guy even if he's a loner who can't fight who everyone hates, and you'd hide behind him and they'd call you out for that alone. Everyone wants the small guy under their wing anyway because they know they'd need help -__- My uncle has a napoleon complex, he's 5'8 and not very muscular and he's been in pen since 18 and he's 56 now still in pen and alive and everyone loves him lol
