what did people get for the calculations?? I defo messed them all up 😑

I can't remember all of mine lol... I got +41 for Hess' law. -30,000andsomething for the energy density (which I think may be wrong), 33.something % for the HNO3 by moles.

These were my calculation answers, in order of how they appeared in the q paper
Mass of air: 834.7
Mass of air for 1g of C4H10O: 11.28
Energy Density: 36200
Hess' Law: +41
KNOW: 34.15%

Not sure if theyre right but lemme know if you got the same/different

Got the same as you apart from the last one. The mass of air need question stumped me for a while lol 😂😂

I got the same for Hess' law and energy density, but that's it 😂 ffs

I put, the electrons get promoted and then fall to a lower energy level. As they fall they emit a photon. E=hv. Frequency corresponds to a certain colour. And different frequencies produce the other colours. (I think I missed some things)

Tbh I actually considered putting that. I ended up going with particulates. 😂😂

I did the same )))

I considered that too you are not alone 😂 I think particulates is right j thought about it but thought they meant a group of emissions so that threw me

Im not necessarily right though haha

The question when is asked to give a mathematical equation for the energy transferred was: E=m x c x triangleT????

I did the same )))

Yes I wrote the same but said strong line at red as absorbed from the red area visible light spec and at the highest frequency as from highest energy level

I thought for the mol and mass calculation questions they were asking the same question but then I read it carefully and it the same answer as people on here

Let's hope the people who mark think we're correct 😂😂😂😂

What did people put for the frequency question did frequency increase > or < or was it to do with wavelength?
Kaz_96 your answer is wrong hahah

wasn't the hess' law calc +41? What did you put for the man made pollutant for the firework? I put photochemical smog, dunno if thats right though

I put that too! Don't know if it's right though

frequency ------->
because the lines converged towards the right, i.e at the higher frequencies
