Yep that's what I'm saying to myself as well. Thank god it doesn't count towards next year 😅😅😅
I'm definitely going to work a lot harder in year 13!

I'm gonna have to work so so so hard to get pull my marks up with paper 2!😅
Did everyone else write the procedure for a volumetric solution for the 6 marker?

I'd say half of it was free marks and the other half was pretty insane :L I went blank on the chromate ion oxidation >.>
**** I read it as chlorate!!!!😡😡😡😡

I did!!!! Wasn't sure though!
it was chlorate

The exam was hard yes, however everything I wanted to come up actually came up, I'm dropping it anyway though so there was no point doing it

Did it say chlorate (1)? What was that?

What did people get for the following:
1) The MPC about equilibria, is it a forward/backward and or endo/exo?
2) The mass of gold?
3) CH3, for the 9/11 mass of C?
4) The identity of the White ppt?
5) The volume for the second flask (PV=nrt Q)?

Grade boundaries never change for Chem.
80% will alway be an A.
Therefore an A = 64/80

Ahh same that's reassuring. The wording of the question was a bit vague 🤔 I was so glad it was volumetric solutions because they're quite easy compared to titration

I got forward endo for first 1 i think
2) 19.3 was the answer to that one i think
3) Dont know what i put ):
4) Barium Sulphate
5) not sure
Is there an unofficial mark scheme anywhere yet?
I thought the paper was reasonably hard and like no equilibrium constant or enthalpy changes came up which was surprising! The multiple choice was ok though

Guys if you have tests to do soon don't worry about this one or the unofficial mark scheme for it just revise for those.

2) 19.3
3) it's C3H8
5) like 1330 something ish

Not sure tbf but I thought it was 133cm^3 baring in mind that the answer you get is in m^3 and you have to convert it to cm3 (therefore multiply the answer by 1000^2)?
