It is written at the top that these are the four major "catalytic reforming reactions" not aromatization

So this is the verdict according to CGP. It says that alkanes are reformed into cycloalkanes and aromatic hydrocarbons. :frown:
what was the answer for the ppm question and the number of atoms in an element (cant remember the exact element)?

For the PPM you had to divide by a million then times by a thousand (can't remember the actual values). The number of atoms in the compound they gave you has to be counted, and multiplied by the mole and again multiplied by Avogadro's constant.

ppm - 8x10^-3g

No. of atoms in an element - there were 5 atoms, so 3.0x10^24.

It made sense because large compounds like Decane are reformed to cyclohexane and stuff. I got side tracked by that. Smaller molecules such as C4H10 are reformed into an alkene and H2. SO, for our case, i think its safe to say that A is the correct answer. :smile:
