"World leaders rattled by Trump"

Bernie fans need no encouragement as demonstrated at DePaul the other night

You're missing the point and are really avoiding my point. I can't speak for the Bernie supporters doing that but Bernie himself condemns their violence compared to Trump who has on various occasions encouraged violence, what exactly are you trying to prove here? Bernie supporters may be violent too but at least the person they support doesn't encourage it.

Hitler was a left wing socialist like you. Vote Bernie kommrades

No he wasn't. Like really wasn't.
Can I ask how do you define a socialist and how do you define left wing. Because people who make the suggestion you just did usually have a nonsensical definition of at least one of those terms.

if by "good", we mean effective, I don't think anyone can deny Hitler was an incredibly good leader

Was a man who led his country and most of Europe into a series of disastrous wars resulting in millions killed, a man who employed genocide as a means to bolster popular support an effective leader?

I guess it boils down to how do you define an effective leader?

I would say an effective leader is someone who improves the lot of the people he is leading at the very least, and the world in general. don't know if effective would be the right description. A better term would be charismatic. He knew how to play to people's emotions, and seemed to engender loyalty to his ideas

I think it is safe to say that Hitler's leadership brought nothing but misery, pain and unspeakable outrage to the world.

Sure, because right wingers always start a sentence with " i am not racist but < insert something here>" as as self declaration that they are not racist, so they must be not racist.

And left wingers want women and minorities to be baby fed for the rest of their lives because they are oppressed against by every cis white male. AKA basically saying that women and minorities need help to achieve what white men can achieve which is in fact: Sexist and racist.

Difference between left wingers and right wingers is one is demonised to look racist whilst the other is actually racist but thinks they are doing the universe a favour

did these left wingers have "left wingers" written on their forehead or you just go around labeling anyone that owns you in an argument "left wingers"?
Obama is irrelevant and it's sad to see this sort of boring slander from him. It really does get tiring to hear the same stuff about Trump. It's just like the EU referendum, the remain camp analogous to those opposed to Trump (i.e. lots of the MSM) - we just keep hearing the same fear mongering messages and it gets rather boring. He's proved incredibly popular (not saying for necessarily the right reasons - however the MSM never say anything positive - and there must be some positives) and I think people either take what he says far too literally or they have no ability to critically think when they interpret media info. No I don't support Trump's ideas or some of the invalid generalisations he has made but I think its a shame that many do not seem to have the basic critical thinking skills to see past the whole boring, generic "er ma ged its hitloir" etc arguments.

I believe there are racists on both sides of the divide.

You're right. The far right is bunch of religious zealots who are extremely racist and the majority of the right aren't racist at all. A lot of the left think they are not racist but they are just as bad as the religious far right.

"White privilege"

Why do you need an "iconic person of this well published hierarchy" in order to actually be racist? That's nonsense.

"White privilege", is that something that hitler proposed even thought under a different name "aryan supremacy"?

Because it was compared to the nazis, who have hitler as its iconic person.

I think you need to brush up on your history. The Nazi party was originally a socialist party but Hitler's RIGHT-WING ideologies transformed the party into one of the most right-wing facist parties in history.

Effective? He was known to be incredibly lazy. The other members in his party usually made the day-to-day decisions. Read a biography. Evidently he was not an effective leader since Germany lost the war and he offed himself.

Yes because Bernie fans aren't violent.
From what I have saw it is the anti-trump protesters who are violent

I'm guessing you are a fan of Mr Trump. So tell me which one of his policies you agree with the most. The banning of an entire religion from entering the United States or the building a wall to stop Mexicans from entering because, of course, all Mexicans are rapists and drug dealers.

A good racist leader,sure :puke:

Yes and no.
When you rattle an enemy, or someone you're trying to get the upper hand over, it's good. You're leaving them wrong footed.

When you rattle a friend, you're not helping yourself.

Agree with your second point and Trump certainly seems determined to do plenty of that.

On the first point, the problem often is that we don't know to what extent the rulers of the main nuclear powers represent stable and intelligent governments and to what extent also they are likely to misunderstand or react incorrectly to prodding and poking. For example, Putin appears to be running a government that is happy to directly threaten nuclear attacks on other countries, as they have done for example with "nobody usually notices they even exist" countries like Denmark. When you add to that the ways Russia has behaved with non-nuclear forces in recent years and it paints an alarming picture of a government that has no interest in the preservation of peace, of the wellbeing of its neighbours or come to that, its own citizens.

The Chinese government is similarly engaged in regional bullying and attempts to intimidate neighbours currently.

It's hard to say what works against that, but I doubt that the sort of bullying, swaggering rhetoric that Trump seems to rely on would be likely to work the way he wants it to. More likely it would push these already unstable and corrupt elites into more outrageous actions.

The problem with just blustering all the time and never saying what you really think or plan to do is that you end up electing someone who could be like the worse nightmare come true, all because you never did quite find out what he actually means.

Trump himself wants to expand torture, let alone what his supporters think.

Fair point, it works both ways.

You are entitled to your opinion.
Enjoy your Saturday.
Bare in mind that Trump is the guy who tried to sue Bill Maher for saying that he was the son of an orangutang...
