There's no evidence to suggest he'll be a 30 a year striker. As a rough measure, he's scoring 1 in 2 games, and less than 1 in 2 shots (so roughly a shot a game). It requires him to keep that insane conversion rate (which is more than double the likes of Kane and Agüero's who are usually around the 25-30% mark) and significantly increase his shot output. It's entirely doable, but there's not much to suggest at this stage he'll be that prolific.

I seriously don't know - Henderson is actually terrible at shooting.

I don't see him as our captain in all honesty. It's always gonna be hard to follow Gerrard but he doesn't have anything like the same influence, respect or aura of a captain.

And they have more than double his shots, because he's playing in the tenth best attacking team in the league. When he's playing in a team with amongst the most goals scored, which he likely will be for most of his career, he'll be able to have a far lower conversion rate and still get 20+

Maybe, but maybe not. There's no evidence to say he will or won't, which is why I said its a hell of an assumption to say he'll be the next RvN, or to get 30 a season (even 20 tbh).

The evidence is the number of shots he gets in a team with 40 goals, extrapolate that to the number of shots he'll have in a Mourinho team with 70+, plus the improvement from aging

Only 2 or 3 players have ever reached 30 so need to use that as a standard
