OK, just give an example. I just want to know what you consider a meet up group.
you just have to work in a trade that women use as much or more than men
like handbags, makeup or (my trade) fine jewellery and quality watches

I'm with pl student on this - what groups? Seriously girls don't go to these groups. They go out with their friends to dinner, girly drinks, clubs, holidays - they don't go to some yoga class across the other side of London tomeet up with a bunch of strangers (generally, you'd have to be extremely lucky).

easier said than done, all of those are very niche areas I have no specialisation or particular interest in. Besides I shouldn't have to hone in on an area of womens' interest which is on the whole, quite narrow.

just learn about a few bits and pieces just enough to hold a conversation then as when you get a partner if you don't know then you will be conned a LOT
