If religion did exist, I suppose - regardless of whether you subscribed to a religion or not - you'd go to hell.

If you aren't religious, though, your thought process should be you won't go to hell as it doesn't exist, no?

The scriptures that refer to torment "for ever" are about sufferings on this planet.
Hell is the place of destruction / annihilation.

All are going to hell unless they choose to accept God's offer of eternal life and sonship by being born again, as all the disciples were:

"they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance."

You may not understand or believe in this, but you do need to what to know the truth and be open-minded enough to meet with people that have it.
