What happens if you use a blue pen in the exam hall?

Pretty sure you'll get 0 marks cos most papers say to use black ink... Not sure about using gel pens in general though, but in a few of my exams the invigilators have told us specifically that we're only allowed to use black ballpoint pen or biros...

In my opinion nothing much
nothing.
will show up poorly when scanned so just..don't.
Papers are scanned and sent to various examiners so you might not want to risk it.
When your scripts are put into a machine to be copied and marked by some random it will not come out clear or something like that.
There might be a special case where they send the hardcopy to be marked

All the unrecogniseable papers are hand marked by examiners. This process is quite long and is the reason why they try to make as many as possible use black ink, however you do not get penalised for using blue ink.

Thanks, I used a blue pen in my mock exam but I guess it was fine since my teacher directly marked it luckily.
No nthn happens. I used a blue pen in a unit 1 exam in Jan and got an A so its fine. the paper says black or ball point pen btw, not just black
