Hey i'm doing US politics and for pressure groups make sure you know the 3 main ones: the NRA, AARP and AIPAC!

What and how have liberals supported the fragmentation of political power?

Explain the link between liberalism and individualism
On what grounds have modern liberals supported defended the principle of social welfare?

Liberalism essay:
To what extent does modern liberalism depart from the ideas of classic liberalism?
To what extent is there tension between liberalism and the principle of equality?
'A fear of democracy runs through liberalism' discuss
'Modern liberals have abandoned individualism and embrace collectivism' discuss
'Liberalism is defined by its desire to minimise the state' discuss
'Liberal democracy is a contradiction in terms' discuss
To what extent have liberals endorsed the principle of equality?

If anyone knows how to answer any of these then please let everyone know

I would learn membership size - especially NRA and AARP. And also a few examples of donations they have made to candidates.

There have been past questions such as 'Explain the influence of the most powerful US pressure groups' so you would talk about these three. Here you could say how membership size means they can reflect a portion of society and therefore a portion of the electorate, money means they can afford lobbyists and to donate to campaigns in both presidential and Congressional elections, and you could talk about how easy/hard their goal is to achieve (for example NRA seen as a strong and influential group as they are upholding the 2nd amendment and therefore the people's rights)

Learning the content from the merk scheme for the short questions. As for the essays idk what's happening with those. I just find them incredibly difficult

we should all practice questions and compare answers

that is what we have been doing for sociology and it really does help
