S2 Approximations
Can someone check these/ tell me the rest as I can't seem to find them.
Approx to normal
- Binomial to normal
np and nq >5
-Poisson to normal
lamda > 15 large n
Approx to poisson
- Binomial to poisson
n large, p small
- Normal to poisson
I'm not too sure on this one. Is it when the mean and the variance are the same?
