A lot has happened since 2015 when Cameron got a second nod, But since then there has been the EU referendum talk, panama papers and *oink oink*. So if there was a general election tomorrow who will you be voting for?

The Green Party, because they seem sincere. I disagree with some of their policies because they're a bit naive, but they at least seem like they actually just want to run the country for the people. The party consists of fewer ungrounded snobs than most other parties.

I think you ought to specify whether we are voting in a vacuum where constituencies don't matter. I live in a constituency which is currently held by a Conservative after being Lib Dem since it's creation. Labour, UKIP and Greens are irrelevant here.

Luckily for me (in terms of your poll), I would vote Lib Dem anyway since Labour has taken itself way off into the left. I also wouldn't consider voting Tory while it remains as right-wing as it is now.

I'd begrudgingly stay true to my roots and vote for Labour despite thinking Corbyn and Co. are morons. Not that it matters under FPTP as I live in a safe Tory seat and only vote on principle anyway.

I don't know what AMS is but any of the others are improvements over FPTP. I'm in favour of STV.

Roots are one of the worst reasons to vote. What do you believe in? What policies make you wet yourself with excitement?

Fail us how? That's subjective.

My essential view at the last election is that the Tories appealed to me more than any other party on their economic approach and somewhat on their foreign policy approach with only welfare really being bad enough for me to dislike it properly. Nothing as yet has really changed from the Tories albeit Labour have elected a joke of a leader, a radical extremist (i say this as somebody that is not properly loyal to the Tories at the current time).

Wet social democrat. Mildly respectable but highly unlikely to produce either a manifesto that will appeal to me or make me believe that his party will have the numbers to enact half the stuff anyway.

I wouldn't say any political policy makes me wet myself with excitement. :smile:

Seriously though I'd say I believe in Social Democracy, possibly 3rd way politics depending on how you gauge things. I'm sympathetic to Socialism in an ideal world but just don't see it as being viable.

I certainly don't adhere to the terrorist sympathising stance of the current Labour leadership circle.
