You can be a genius and still hold misguided views. Look at Ben Carson. Possibly the world's best neurosurgeon in his day, yet he doesn't believe in evolution.

You're missing the point. You can be extremely intelligent but hold bigoted views, they're not mutually exclusive.

Depends how you define intelligence. If someone is academically gifted but is conservative, I do not think they are a great person.

You don't have to compliment someone or even like them to know they're intelligent. The same with morality; you can tell from their views what type of morality they adhere to.

A lot of people are intelligent (not all gifted) and are conservative- David Cameron, Boris Johnson, George Osbourne, Justin Welby- they all studied at Oxbridge and yet they hold conservative views. In fact, I would say that more academically intelligent and well-educated people tend to be conservative.

No. Getting into Oxbridge doesn't require being elite or privileged- it requires you to be academically intelligent.
gay marriage has done nothing but good since it was legalised in the uk, i hope it's legalised in other places as well

It should only be legalised if the majority of the population in these countries supports it. For example, it should not be legalised in a country like Russia where most people do not support it.

Pretty sure it's easier getting in there for upper class twits even if they're stupid.
Even then it seems quite clear to me that socialism is more moral.
Love isn't based on a gender, race, religion etc it's based on the people's feelings so why can't they marry, of course they should be allowed to! I'm supporting it.
