Are muslim girls allowed to be friends with guys? Or even non Muslims (I know region doesn't matter, but curious )

well i know that regarding males, its not allowed, they should not really have interactions. one thing usually leads to another (believe me i know a girl) regarding non-muslim friends, you can. i am and so is all the muslims i know

I believe so, as long as you stay as friends and nothing else
