STEP for Recreation

Hello TSR,

Exams are finished and I'm here feeling pretty empty with nothing to do, so I've decided to go through STEP I and II to ease my boredom. I will be starting a mathematics degree later this year in October and I'm wondering if there's anything more productive to do than STEP, and if the exam questions at university will be anything like the types presented in STEP.

Thanks for your time.

It really depends on what university you're going to. Perhaps just some mild reading around mathematics would be beneficial, such as picking up some numbers and sets or "how to prove things" or abstract algebra would be more beneficial to a uni degree than STEP.
