Pulling out from a Firm choice

If I firm a university, and then achieve those grades, Is there no way I can pull out after I meet the conditions? What if i want to take a gap year? Or some personal problem arises?

It is possible to do that, you would need to let your uni know if you wish to take a gap year, but provide them with valid reasons as to why you wish to defer your admission.
If you want to pull out, you can withdraw your application completely from UCAS.
Hope this helps
