Why do Little Europeans want to shut ourselves off from the rest of the world?

Because really, that is all the EU is doing. The EU shuts itself off from the benefits non-EU immigrants can bring to Europe by making them go through ridiculously along, difficult, expensive and overly bureaucratic immigration system whilst allowing free travel between countries for any unskilled wally. Really, how successful can a system be where a qualified Indian Doctor needs to go through the expensive immigration process.

Not to mention shutting itself off from trade deals with the red tape it uses to restrict it's members trading. Then there's the constant proposals for the provocative EU army they keep trying to force through. Rather than try to build closer ties with Russia and ensure peace, the EU wants to build an army to counter any Russian threat. How is peace between us and Russia ever going to work out if the EU are trying to set up a unified EU Army?

Better to be out of the EU and open ourselves up to the rest of the world than continue to be continue to be Little Europeans afraid of change.

That has nothing to do with the EU.

The UK Immigration system for Non - EU workers is decided by the UK.

If it wasn't for the EU, then Russia would still be charging extortionate Gas prices.

God forbid, countering the Russian threat after they invaded Eastern Ukraine.

Not with those garbage arguments.

It is decided by the UK. But, at least if we leave the EU then these skilled workers from Africa, China, India etc will be on level footing.

Rather than the biased, racist, current system which allows white European workers from Eastern Europe to waltz through the borders regardless of whether they've got 2 brain cells to rub together or whether they can speak the language or not whereas those distasteful brown people need to go through a ridiculous immigration process.

Imagine if a political party said "we're going to allow open immigration. But only to the white people. Those pesky Indians and Africans are at the back of the line, need a sponsor and need to be earning over 20k a year. We're also going to allow those white Poles and Slovakians to gain benefits when they arrive but those Indians, Chinese and Africans can't"

They would quite rightly be shouted down as racist. But that is the current immigration system we currently have. It's a racise system that gives preference to the white people regardless of how skilled or qualified they are.

You are talking *******s. If the UK wants to let in Indians and Africans then it can. IT is a different system.
This argument only really works if you then support having absolutely no immigration or trade policy post-Brexit. That seems unlikely.

You're in denial, son. It's a racist immigration system, admit it. It takes opportunities away from skilled workers from elsewhere and offers them instead to the white people.

Of course the UK isn't going to give Indians and Africans the same system. it would create chaos and completely overwhelm the country.

But a fairer system would be one that puts immigrants on a level playing field regardless of where they're from.

Tell me son, why is it fair that a Romanian car washer who can't speak the language can cross the border at will but a Doctor from India can't? Non-Europeans are been blocked on the sole basis of where they are from.

A points based system will be fairer for everyone. Fact.

So you want people from India to be able to cross at will. That would also make things fair.

Sorry but you are wrong. You can employ people on a tier 2 visa pretty easily. But it is much easier to hire a UK or EU national as the only paperwork required is a photocopy of their passport and an NI number. From a hiring point of view there is no difference between UK and EU nationals. My take is that if we leave all migrants will be treated the same.

I am surprised you are against the EU because immigration from the rest of the world is tight. A reduction in immigration is key to the Brexit campaign although I question if they can deliver it.

That makes so little sense it physically hurts to read it. Some of the main Non-EU immigrant communities, aside from South Asia, are Australia, South Africa, America, New Zealand and Canada.
It's utterly racist that we give free movement to all the Welsh and Scottish people too.

Non EU immigration is more or less level pegging with non eu immigration. OP is just scraping the barrel now. Next they'll be saying it will bring about the rapture.

Ah yes, how racist of us to allow national citizens to move around inside their national borders.

Are you retarded or just pretending?
I'm for Out but those are not things I support. I prefer Poles to Arabs and I think those who wish to pander to Russia are stupid.

It's a system which gives preference to European citizens, white or not. This doesn't have anything to do with race.

Someone from India, China or Africa would have to do just as much to enter the UK as someone the US, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, etc.

It's not racist, you're a moron.

The UK is the political union between four nations. Thus we are all UK citizens whilst having different nationalities.

It's the same with the EU in that we are all European citizens.

It's not a difficult concept so I think it is you with the problems.

P
Anyone who is against the EU is a racist bigot and should have their views banned by the new hate speech law given to us by the EU. That awful bigotry and hate speech against the EU hsould not be allowed to be expressed! >.<
Because we'd like it to remain a white country, not a third world hellhole

The UK is a country of countries, and has existed in this state for about 400 years.

It is totally incomparable with the EU.

Cool, if we vote to stay in the EU will be fine in 400 years time.

You're right, they're not compatible. Wales had to be subject to military occupation for two hundred years. Way Member states are free to join (and leave) when they wish.
