Stalin and hoped East Germany would suffer with the blockade, but the airlift allowed the allies to supply goods and help E.Germany which meant that the blockade was rendered a failure and consequently ended.
Whats the difference between West Germany and Trizonia. Also what was the name of the American British and French combined zones in Berlin?

trizonia was when france ,usa and britains parts of germany came together this is also called west germany
in other words west germany and trizonia are the same
