A UK student looking to study in Europe

Hi, i'm a year 12 student considering my university options as I will be applying next year, I'm interested in a course relating to human geography or social sciences but preferably not too much politics. I've been interested in the idea of studying abroad for years now and it seems too good of an opportunity to miss, not only with the life experience but saving myself a huge amount of money that would otherwise be spent on extortionate British uni fees. What i'm asking for is any advice from somebody who has studied abroad, what they studied and where, also if there is anything I should know before I make any decisions.

BA Development Studies at Lund University (you can specialise in Economic History, Human Geography, Political Science or Sociology)

I've already considered a few of these and they do look very interesting, thanks for linking me the website I'm sure i'll find it useful :smile:
I would recommend Sweden. They teach in English and it's generally a fantastic country.

What you do need to know: you won't be eligible for the maintainance loan from student finance in the UK, that means its very likely you'll have to pay for living costs such as food and accomodation yourself. In the Netherlands if you work 56 hours per month then you can apply for Dutch student finance, but obviously you need to find the job before you can get money. More info here
