Aqa grade boundries

I just did the jan 2010 biol 4 paper and got what I thought to be a poor mark but according to the grade boundaries it was an A*. Could someone just confirm that im using the grade boundaries correctly ie the scale mark grade boundary means the raw mark that you got in the test.
The grade boundaries I used: http://store.aqa.org.uk/over/stat_pdf/AQA-A-LEVEL-AND-AS-NEW-GDE-BOUND-JAN10.PDF

I prefer using that.

It seems as though 45/70 would have gotten you an A*.

Must have been a very difficult paper. Though it's AQA Bio so I'm not surprised
