Computer Science ahhh (Please Help)

Ok, I'm in Year 9 atm and next year and I am going to be taking my Computer Science GCSE exam. (So technically I'm taking it a year early.) I'm not home schooled, but I will be taught everything I need to know outside of school. For those taking it/having taken it, is it all a test at the end or is there a coursework part to it. My school are happy to let me take it but I don't know roughly what to prepare/study for in terms of coursework. Not sure if this makes sense.

What was involved in the exams this year? I think I'm doing the Aqa board (If that's a thing.) , but I'm just looking for a rough idea.
