For the abba question, what did people do? I think I put the wrong numbers into the calculator, but my method was:
3/7 * 2/6 * 2/5 * 1/4 (picking the letters AABB).
There are 6 ways to arrange AABB, so multiply by 1/6. This gets 1/420. I think then multiply by 4! as it does not matter what order we pick the cards from the initial 7.

I done wjat u done but only multiplied by 4 at the end instead of 4!

I got 0.0864 because either Marie fails twice and nadia succeeds twice (0.8^2*0.3^2) or Marie scores, nadia scores, Marie fails, nadia scores (0.8*0.2*0.3^2) or Marie fails nadia scores Marie scores nadia scores (same thing) so it's (0.8^2*0.3^2) +2(0.8*0.2*0.3^2).

This seems correct actually

How were you meant to work out the total output for the year?

I did an arithmetic progression with a being 17.6 and d being 0.6 comes to like 200 and something

You calculated the mean value of n in the previous question and the mean is given by mean = (sum of n) / n(12) so to find the sum of n you multiply the mean by n

I just found the sum of z using the mean of z and n=12

Mean of apples was kike 146.5 and variance was 21.75. Sum on m2 was 1117168.

how did you work out the sum of m^2?
Does anyone else think that was one of the easiest papers out of all the past exams?
