I reckon 1

149-140

How did you get that?

How do you do the standard deviation question and what was the answer

i can't remember a sd question being in it, ive probably just forgotten and there was one but idk

How did you work out the box plot question?

I thought it was that < 130 < or equal to 140 (or something like that)
At 140 it is the LQ. At the LQ there is 25%.

100% is 52 apples so 25% is 13.

I just worked out the probability for 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19 and added them together.

Wow, that must have taken you an age!! I guess it's a good way to be sure that you're right, though

wouldn't it be 12 bc it said less than 140

for the barbara question, did anyone else get 1/210?

Yeah I got that too

Can doe one make a google doc for a markschemes?? Thanks 😀
For the 'abba' question:

I think it was ((3C2 x 2C2) x (2! x 2!))/ 7C4 x 4! = 1/70

I think that was correct

The one with the graph
Original post by Ozil5
Yeah i think you were meant to, i did anyway

Yeah I did like probability of x greater than or equal to 2 for n as 3 and p as 0.3

You can solve it using probability. The probs of getting a was 3/7 then b is 2/6 then 2nd b is 1/5, last a is 2/4. Times all together and you get 1/70? I think it was

oh **** yeah sorry it was spearmans rank

Yeah 13th Apple is position of LQ so 12 apples
Original post by Jamesk123
I got 7C4 as the total amount =35
And then 2! X 2! = 4 so 4/35

I just did
3*2*1*2
7 6 5 4
for ABBA as that is the probability of each letter in each place. I checked this with
3!*2!
7P4
As this is the amount of ways the ABBA can be arranged by mixing up the A's and B's if that makes any sense. So The total ways you can get ABBA which = 12 (3! * 2! = 12).
On the bottom is the total ways of arranging it with any set of 4 letters in any of the 4 places (So you could have CACB etc.) And 7P4 = 840.
12
840 =
1
70
Sorry feel that wasn't worded well but hopefully you can see what I mean.
