OCR MEI C2 - 8th June 2016 - Unofficial mark scheme

Can't really tell, but i think it was a slightly harder paper than usual because of the second question, so perhaps a couple of marks lower than normal

"slightly" Are you actually kidding me? That was the hardest c2 paper ever. Everyone in my year, even the super smart kids who get 95,100% thought it was hellish. The grade boundaries will be very very low, potentially the lowest they've ever been for c2.
for question 8i) do you mean 1/2a^2sin(theta)? just checking because you write it as sin(theta) later on

Think I got most of section a correct but dropped marks on 10 iv becuase i just couldn't visualise what the triangle would look like, and think my line of best fit was a bit dodgy haha.

What were the grade boundaries last year for C2?

Was u2+u3+u4 with a=5
So 5/3 is rem2 2*5=10
10/3 is rem1 *5 =5
5/3 rem2 *5=10
10+5+10=25

Wouldn't you round 261 down to 260, as you can't have .7 of a flu case?

I think because it is an estimation and not an exact calculation of the flu cases, you would round normally

It was only one mark, they'll probably accept both
