for population control i did china
for squatter settlements: the favelas
and in tourism i used blackpool in the coastal resort/national park question and kenya for the last one

Yeah I think it was, our school does Kenya for ecotourism and mass tourism so I kinda merged them together!

Same for the last qwc did you refer to ecotourism or just tourism in Kenya?

I did the same topics too..
The case studies I used were
Population: Kerela
Changing Urban Environments: Kibera
Tourism: Kenya

Found it easier than the Physical paper though.. :smile:

I did population, changing urban environments and the development gap. I found it harder than the physical, as did everyone else at my school, especially the changing urban environments section with the stove. Overall not too bad and I'm not worried about how it went but harder than the physical paper for me.
I did Population, Globalisation and Tourism. Globalisation was by far the hardest of the three. All together, Physical Geography is much easier than Human Geography.

Physical Geography is easier because there is only certain ways a Cave is formed and you just learn it until you perfect the answer. With Human Geography you have to think 'behind the scenes' to why some countries De-industrialise, etc.

What did you get for the 8 marker on the development gap? I found that impossible.

It was a picture of an African woman and you had to annotate the figure as to why her having a stove (not a proper oven) would increase her quality of life. I feel like it was in the development gap though, can't remember it being in urbanisation
