Gap year in New Zealand

Is anyone planning on taking a gap year in New Zealand or has anyone? If you are/have what are you planning on doing??
I have a few friends that have done it, one is still there now.

I really wish I could :frown:

Queenstown, bungie jumping, mountains, it all looks amazing. They also did Australia too.

the one that is still there is working as a carpenter and worked in a hostel. The other didn't work, saved up before hand.
I'm going! Will be working in Wellington for a while then travelling around. I have dual nationality so don't have to worry about visa's/length of trip which is a blessing.

What are your plans?
