Some one help me please!!! I expanded (x+1)(x-1) to get x^2-1 would this still be right for Q25??

I did the same

Expanding those brackets out precisely gives u : -9x-12+3x^2+4x which cancels out to what u got except for it ending up resulting in a negative 5x as it would cancel out to get 3x^2-5x-12

Yes you are right - and that was the question I had a typo
Original post by 34908seikj
Wasn't the last question like 1/2 * 7 * 8 Sin(X) = 18

56Sin(x) = 36

Sin^-1(36/56) = X

x = 40

???

I think I did it wrong then.

Has the teacher Mr kirbia posted the paper yet?

Also what do you think the gb will be 180 for A*?
I'm so confused. How can stratefied sample be 11 males as the answer was 10 point something students but you can't have a part of a student so I rounded down to 10?!!

It was definitely £42.28

I got that too.
Could anyone explain the answer to question 14?
Original post by bobs your uncle1
-9x-12 +3x^2 +4
3x^2 -9x -8

So you are wrong

I think you meant to put +4x at the end there mate proving I am right
Original post by girlr9672
I did the same

Okay good!! Surely it's still right?

Original post by zeldor711
I got 80.1? You're probably right. Did you get the other angle as 40 and side as 5.22?

You rounded too early
The angle was 40.00520088
The side was 5.216 etc.
3.8 was over it though
What was the Questions for 16 again ?
