Original post by saad.ash
i got 40.0 for the last question fml

same, it was out of 6 marks as well :frown:
has anyone got the actual paper with working out?
which question number was the perimeter of the two arcs? And what did people get for it
Original post by Hasib_332
How could it be "3.8" you baffled horse

3.8 here as well because the number rounded closer to it when I checked 3.75
q15 HE IS CORRECT depreciates by 50%
I got 3.8 from using 3.75 and it was too small, but when I checked the distances between the two values 3.7 was closer, I left it as 3.8 because they usually award the mark for using 3.75 rather than working out the differences between

did anyone else get 28.9cm for the perimeter of the shaded region

Thank you this is really helpful. I think i see where i went wrong, I thought i was working out just the first angle and thought i was done lol

The marks should have indicated there was more work to do. Never mind, hopefully everything else went well and Good Luck !!
For the last question one angle, two sides and the area are given. Can't you just workout the third side using the area and base then use cosine rule since you have three sides???

What was your answer?

yes 7250 or something so it does
Both exams went really well for most people. People said this paper is likely 83 for A* and the last one is 85 for A* on polls, plus the people who done bad are normal, this is why the national average is a C. Tbh its never gone higher than 169 (it was 169 in 2013) so check those papers and see what u think of them b4 replying
