Hi I'm going to start and unofficial markscheme so add your answers
Reps are not necessary but would be appreciated :smile:

It would be really useful if you could remember the question numbers
1. Order numbers correctly and include a key
b) 9/20=
0.45
2a. 5a*2b*3c =
30abc
b. Factorise fully 3y +6 =
3(y+2)
c. Expand x(x-3)=
x^2-3x
3.
x=9.25
4. Smallest packet was best value for money because it was cheapest per bag of crisps
5. 4 times as many red than green: There were 0.4 blue and 0.15 yellow.
0.4+0.15+4x+x=1
0.55+5x=1
5x=0.45
x=0.09
4x=0.36
Green- 0.09 Red- 0.36
6a. 20.3
b. 68.04kg
c. 2.61m
7. 3.8
8a. 4:3
b. 480 pixels
9.x= 124 degrees
10. 7.92
11.£42.29
12. x=144 degrees
13.
-2 -1 0 1 2
-1 3 1 -1 3
Draw curve
14. 3 Bars
15. No, because 7766.22 was greater than 7500 pounds
16. 128g
b.11g
17. 30.1
18. 10a^5b^4
b. y= 5p^2-x
19.11 males
20. x= 0.29 or x= -2.29
21. 29.25
22. F.d- 1.6, 3.2, 2.4, 1.8, 0.3
23.28.9
24a. -1/3x+4
b. 2x/(x+1)(x-1)
25. 80.4

Question 15 did not equal to £7766.22
Because 1st year depreciated by 23%
so 0.77 x 15000 = £11550
then after the 1st year it was 18%
so 0.82 x 11550 = £9471
therefore no it was not more than half
What was the question number for the perimeter of the arc?
Original post by Resty
probably 67 for an A, maybe 83 for an A*

That's what I was thinking, but isn't it true that the grade boundaries could be high? I really want an A and I think I got 72 on the non-calculator paper so how much do you think I would need on this one?

The median and IQR of the cumulative frequency graph.
Original post by EdanBrooke
Yeah didn't do curves. Damn.

It's okay!! You'll only lose like 1mark :P you'll get a mark for the correct table :biggrin:
I actually did alright to be honest, hopefully will bring up my grade from the non calculator paper
Original post by Disfuligee
15000*0.77*0.82*0.82=7766.22

This is the correct answer so Paul is wrong

yep i got the same on 7762

I don't understand why ppl don't simplify the fraction? You have a calculator? All you had to do was hit sd

Jesus christ i studied with 3 children as a single mum for 30 lesson . I cant believe i didnt lol . Did it say to do so ?
what will the grade boundaries for a B be
On 6b with the 68.04kg. Will I get it right because I rounded it down to 68kg?
What was the question number for the Cumulative Freqency graph?
i got like 28.9 or something
Did anyone else get 396 (or around there) at some point during the pentagon question?

I did the exterior angles, then the interior ones. Calculated the two interior angles at the bottom, and the two right angles on the symmetrical lines (I think they were right angles)

Finally did 540 - 396oraroundthere

The question said after three years, so the value decreased by 18% again, leaving it as £7766.22, although this is still more than half of £15000.

For the trial and improvement one my few ids were saying they got 3.7 but I got 3.8 and I was 100% sure that was right?

Posted from TSR Mobile

Its 3.7 not 3.8, in the exam i took them away from the needed number and 3.7 was like 3 tenths closer to it than 3.8
wtf was question 16 again?
What are the total marks for each question?

Yes it did. It was over three years. So 11550 x 0.82^2 for the 2 years left

£7766.22, so no more than half
