'A' should be at 46 BAS

Unfortunately A's never get that low no matter how hard the paper is..so yeah it will not b getting below 50..

Yeah wrote exact same things..but the ques was may b of 6 marks..
Writing these may be we will b gettin at least 4 mark but yeah i just cudnt workout anything else for this ques
-electrons gain energy and move to higher energy level-later they move back to lower energy levels and -emit energy in the form of photons
-a sodium atom has specific no. of energy levels (discrete)
-so only certain energy changes are possible
-photon energy is equal to energy difference between energy levels, photon energy = E2-E1

We needed to write 6 valid points for those 6 marks..so not quite sure about full marks will have to wait for mark scheme

I wrote the same and I think this answer is almost complete. Though if you add that the the spectral lines are only produced when photons is emitted then you could get 1 mark
