Wouldn't question 9 be 56 degrees because you have to minus 124 from 180 (angles on a straight line)??

Can u do a marksheem for the calculator paper

Solutions have been posted. I wouldn't be comfortable posting step by step marks for each part of the question in case of building up or dashing hopes before any thing official is released sorry.
Ignore what I said about Q 9, I understand now😂

No the missing angle x is outside of the triangle on the line and is the sum of 70 + 54 = 124

Or 180 - 56 = 124

Yeah. You had to expand the bottom and simplify, difference of two squares

I would imagine you'd get 2 marks as most of the manipulation of the algebra is on the top of the fraction. You did well to get the answer you did. Examiners usually aren't too harsh and if you've clearly shown how you've got to your answer I wouldn't worry too much about it!

for question 10 i got £42.77, do you think that will be correct or if not how many marks would i get for that?

Sounds like you may have made a few rounding errors if you have shown enough working out then I would've thought 3, 4 if the examiner is feeling generous. Good luck

Original post by maniac.droid
i got around 160/200 overall - what grade do you think this is?

I'm thinking its a high a or low a* depending on grade boundaries.

definately a*
Original post by batesonnn
also i think i have got about 165 overall, would that be an A* as im really hoping for that

It is A* well done
Original post by Revision120
definately a*

Are you sure?? I'm pretty stressed out, I'm not not sure for any definite boundary,
What would I have gotten with a combined score of 80
i got around 136-140/200
