You have mocks. They don't matter lol - and when you're doing GCSEs/A-Levels you never know, you may be one of those people who you hate and uses exams as an excuse.

Mocks are still exams tho? People are using mocks as excuses rn and it's unlikely that I will be.

Yeah, i suppose most people find it hard 😞

Your Muslim friends have boyfriends!? That is totally unheard of in my area. I'm just praying that the Uni i go to has s good I-SOC. Alhamdulillah the uni my sister goes to (LSE) has a really good I-SOC!

Yeah it's pretty normal in my college and even in the area in general - I'm pretty shocked that you find it shocking that my muslim friends have boyfriends - I thought it was something that everyone did lol - don't tell me it's not normal for there to be a Muslim friend group with boys and girls who see very good friends with each other. Ahhh, I didn't even think about the I-SOC's for uni - I'm sure we'll still both be fine.

I'm legit shocked! The muslim girls at my school don't really socialise with anyone other than themselves. The ones at my mosque only socialise with muslims boys in like large outings (like 20 of us) and the boys are quite religious and reapectful so theres nothing like a boyfriend girlfriend thing going on!! The only other time we see the boys is at Jummah and at the weekly khutbahs!

Oh yeah there's a few groups of muslim girls like that at my college. Really?! Whoa, I don't go to mosque anymore but as long as the teachers didn't catch you, it was normal for girls to be friends with boys - and I actually find that quite strange cuz I suppose at my college and even at high school (which happened to be an all girls muslim school) it was very normal for girls to mix with boys. Eh - I would never have thought that the Muslims up here weren't as religious as Muslims from other parts of England - I legit just thought this was how it worked.

Wow, could i ask what area this is? 😉
Ahh no, how come you don't go to the mosque anymore? It's one of the best places to be!!
Everyone here knows everyone so if i was ever caught with a non-muslim boy or even out on my own with a muslim boy then stuff would happen (like i'd get a scolding, nothing too extreme 😂)

I live on preston - I highly doubt you've heard of it - what about you? I would like to know where muslim girls don't have boyfriends.

Ohh you mean like the masjid for prayers? I thought you meant madrasa lol - I never went to the masjid, the only one that allows females just opened recently and it's too far away and my parents don't care much to go.

Ahhhhh, hahaha, that's not the case with me, I could go out with with a guy if I wanted and my parents would be none the wiser but ofc I don't do such stuff

Is that up north? I live in the county of Berkshire (tbh no muslim in the whole of Berkshire would get away with having a boyfriend.... well no muslim that i know of )
How can you only have one mosque that allows females!! Gosh!! All the mosques here encourage women to come for all prayers and functions ect!
My mum loves organising the social events and cooking for iftar at the mosque so my family is always there

Yup - is Berkshire in the south?

Loool - is Berkshire that small? And do people really care that much? I mean, you see hijabi's engaging in PDA with their boyfriends basically everywhere in college and outside - it's not like it's all hush hush or anything.

Really?!?! ALL of them? I'm shocked! And it's a small city so maybe you live in a bigger city? I don't know - and awww, that must be nice, especially if you get to see all your friends basically everyday - we just eat by ourselves lol - we don't even have any family so we don't invite them

Yep -South East
Hahah it's probably because everybodys grandparents know each other (like everyone is from the same place in Pakistan and came down to England at similar times).
Ahh no, yeah we cook so that anyone who comes to the mosque can eat for free. Berkshire it's self is quite big  but the muslim community is tight (which means that you will bump into someone almost everyday... its awkward when my grandad sees me with non-muslims who are girls!) 😂
I hope all of you guys are having a lovely Ramadan. Fasting + sitting exams is much harder than I thought tbh
