I was going to write that but in stage 2 it said that a solid formed but then it dissolved, and in stage 3 another solid formed which is why I guessed it was BaO.

I think Ba(NO3)2 is produced in step 3 because in step five NO2 and O2 were produced which means that BaO was produced with them by the decomposition of Ba(NO3)2
but at stage 3 I think it said that towards the end of stage 5, the solid melts to form nitrogen dioxide, oxygen and BaO. So stage five did say that BaO was formed right? So shouldn't it be Ba(No3)2 that is decomposed

But lol since stage 1 the Barium Nitrate was being decomposed.
Also how did you fill in the space with the lineolic acid and ICL reaction? I just put the I and Cl where the double bond used to be, but I wasn't sure if it was right for me to add hydrogens too?
what was the colour of solution before adding starch? and why we did not add starch at the beginning? why the WJC solution was kept in a brown bottle? and what did you answer to the structure asking to complete the reaction between lineolic acid and the other one? what was the oxidising agent?

I wrote
Yellow So it doesnt react with the iodine To block UV light I wrote the product was alcohol probably wrong just guessed ICL oxidising agent cuz it got reduced
