Can anyone remember the questions?
And also, can does anyone know if Volcanic activity can be mentioned for the natural production of NO. I'm kicking myself for not getting lightning in the exam, but at the same time I know Volcanoes can produce many polluting gasses
Yh I got 190
What did everyone write for the 2 equilibrium questions?

I think I wrote for one of the equations the equilibrium moves to the right? I forgot but it was so that more CO2 (aq) was produced

Then I said as more CO2 (aq) was produced the equilibrium moves the the left (forgot direction) for the other equation so more CO2 (g) was produced in the atmosphere

Why are people saying lightning for NO? Didn't it say man made lol

I thought the equilibrium for both of them moved to the left?

I forgot the direction so yeah I think it was that

there was 2 questions, one was man made and one was natural
What did you guys put for in question 5 that question that asked for the propagation reaction of irradiated chlorine and methane to produce CCl4.

I said CHCl3 + Cl• --> CCl4 + H•
Not sure if I'm right though :/

I put this as well!

CO2 is a greenhouse gas that contributes to global warming

ideas on what the carbonyl and biradical formed from ozone and propene would look like?

ethanal and CH3-O-O(unpaired electron) ?

how many marks was this worth

Yeah I got that answer aswell & I think it was 2 marks

I just remember getting something to the power of 13

5.44x10^13 ?

See i put a chlorine instead of the H radical because HBr doesnt normally split via homolysis but chlorine does...? I might be wrong

For the stereo isomer one, I put Z-but-2-ene and E-but-2-ene

I messed up on so much more though, just hope I don't lose anymore than 25 marks D:!

Do you think theyd accept cis and trans but 2 ene? :frown:

Yeah they'd accept both

What did people write for the final propagation step to produce CCl4?
I put CCl3• + Cl2 --> CCl4 + Cl• is that right?

Where has the Br come from? The question was about irradiated chlorine and methane to produce CCl4 or something..
Guys was one of the reaction mechanisms we had to draw Electrophilic Addition? With HCl or something
