The answer to Q25 was no.

This was the method I used (now realised its not technically right but i got the answer so i shall pray for mercy marks)

8/4= 2 for the area of the equilateral triangle

all the angles are 60, so if you split the triangle its 30 at the top

sin 30 is 1/2 so the opposite is 1 and the hypotenuse is 2 (so both sides are 2) - obvs this isnt right but like the principle is oops

use pythag: 2^2 - 1^2 = 3

and root 3 is 1.7 something so no he cant fit

THE CORRECT METHOD: (love how i realise this as soon as i leave)

so area of cross section = 2

area of a triangle is 1/2absinC

2 / 0.5 = 4

4/ sin 60 = 4.618802154

square root that because the triangle is equalatrial = 2.149139864

and then 1/2 x base x height = 2

so height i=2/ 0.5x 2.144

= 1.861209718 so no he cannot fit

CANNOT COPE WITH THE FACT I USED THE WRONG METHOD, hoping ill get some marks :frown:

omg just be happy you did that much, all i got was that the area of the cross section was 2 lmaoo
What was the cylinder answer... and how do you do the question about the shaded triangle??
does the 12/90 cancel down to 2/15
what did u get for the 130 loaves thingy question?
There is a much easier way all you had to do was 1/2 x 2x2 sin 60 and u gt the height and it came to 1.73 or sumat and it was no

U had to find the ratio for each one and it came to white:6 brown :3 and seeded :1 which all together cam to 10 so u did 130/10=13 and then u times 13 by each breads number and u gt
78white
39 brown
13 seeded

the ratio question ,number 8 is not correct for certain, it should be 39 not 31. if you add those numbers up they do not equal 130.

yhh i got 10 point something which rounded to 11.

Btw r u sure we weren't suppose to put the area to the actual shape so it would've been 44cm^2 or something similar cuz thats wat one of my friend got. Im worried now and i can't even remember the question anymore☹️
