Marine and Freshwater Biology.

Hi everyone, I'm starting Marine and Freshwater Biology at Aber in September, and wondered how many other people are doing this course. Judging by the fact there was only two people doing it there at the open day (one of which was me) and the fact it isn't mentioned much on here I thought I'd try to find out how many of us there were.
There are usually ~30 students that take M&F Biology every year

Hey, im confirmed in cwrt mawr band 1. I can't wait to start the course! I have a feeling the first year will be quite boring tho because its not specialised and everyone's gonna be doing the same thing and its not necessarily Marine or Freshwater specific.

nice! I put there as my second choice but I applied relatively late so who knows where I'll end up ! 😂 Yeah should still be fun though, we can get a broader look at aspects influencing marine and fresh; who knows the world's our oyster 😉 plus the lecturers are so enthusiastic

I know!! That's what made me Firm them (that and the unconditional offer) they were so easy to talk to,knew exactly what they were talking about, the course content was perfect, and the atmosphere was amazing! Which is probably because its a smaller uni so there's more of a community feel about it which i like. Also, they're probably one of the best places to study M+F biology because of their facilities and the amazing location.

I did the same, got a Merit Award. I visited once for a private tour because I live too far away to be able to go over for the normal open days
