If I fail my a2 exams this year, could I resit the a2 year again?
Yes there is an opportunity in Summer 2017.

The examiners will be setting AS and A2 papers in all subjects, including those that are changing to a reformed specification. You can retake the exams if you can find a centre providing them to private candidates but if your subjects include reformed A levels it's unlikely you could attend lessons.
