Question regarding extra paper

Needed to use extra paper for one question in a Math OCR exam and although I wrote my candidate number, centre number, name etc I didn't attach the paper to my exam paper, I just slipped it inside my exam paper as the invigilator didn't give me anything to attach it with. Is it possible the extra paper will get lost or misplaced?

For some exam boards, this is the only instruction they give. Exam boards and exam centres are pretty used to the use of extra paper. They know how to deal with it.
