Hopefully D1 is quite straight forward, I always seem to manage to mess up the activity on arc networks and the linear programming somehow though :/

I'm not even sure what I'm missing, somehow the final points just somehow end up being different to the ones I get

I used to have that happen to me, Just do past papers and go through the examiners report, it makes you adapt to the way they think and ask stuff.

I did exactly that yesterday and got 70/72 on the June 13 paper :h:, Although that probably is one of the easiest papers, I still don't feel I'm fully prepared so I'll need to do at least one more.

Does anyone here have access to the revision material by MEI? or has been given MEI D1 revision sheet by his/her school?

These ones are pretty good as well, it's just that the MEI ones highlight key stuff really well and often give away some tricks the exam questions might use. They are meant to be paid for by the school though so unlikely to find them on the internet.

Anyone suspect sorting algorithm's to appear, haven't seen them in a while??
Does anyone know what sorting algorithms we need to know and which ones we need to memorise? Any others apart from bubble sort and quick sort?

In the text book there is the mention of:

Interchange and Insertion.
Can someone explain how to get the x<=0.5y in this paper http://www.mei.org.uk/files/papers/2011_June_d1.pdf q4
And 1.1x<=y in question 5 of this paper http://www.mei.org.uk/files/papers/June13/D1_2013_June.pdf
