AQA Maths FP1 - 15 June 2016 [Exam discussion]

Couldn't see a thread for FP1, so thought I would start one

Anyone got any useful exam resources other than the past papers on the AQA website? If its anything like the 2015 paper I fear I need all the help I can get!

Yeah I agree the imaginary numbers q part was odd but other than that was ok

Yep... was confused on that.
What did everyone get on part b of the matrices question? And the values of q on the complex numbers question?

I don't remember what part b was, was that the one asking about what the matrix of B was?

Couldn't do either... just wrote some nonsense, hopefully I'll pick up some marks.
I mean part d where the question asked P is imaged at point [0,-4] then something to do with the matrix A^2 and reflected on the line X+root3Y=0. Did anyone else get something like 3root2, 2?

I got that and did anyone get q=-1+4I or q=-1+12i

I got -2 I think

I got -12i - 1 and 4i - 1 and (root 3 over 2, 2) for P
For the alpha & beta question, did anyone get 14/14 = 1 for the product on the last part? 1 just seems like an odd answer lol
anyone remember matrix question answer?=_=
