2Al + 3Cl2 -----> 2AlCl3
Chlorine was Cl2, so then it had to be 2Al + 3Cl2 --> 2AlCl3

What if you wrote Al(subscript 2) instead of 2Al.

The other one was:
CaCO3 (calcium carbonate) + HCl (hydrochloric acid) --> CaCl2 (calcium chloride) + CO2 + H2O of which you had to fill in water and carbon dioxide:smile:
